It had some sideart scratches, but was definitely a nice piece. I wanted it but it went beyond my self-imposed price ceiling.

The 2nd one auctioned was in fact mint (1200). Good buy on a nice pin.

Here's what I wrote down, while I was there; including all vids up to the pins (oops, except the last 5 or six 25"ers). I left after the pins were auctioned as the rest of the rows did honestly seem pretty beat. Does anyone know what the Assault went for? The joysticks were trashed and there was some burn in too. Also my $.02 on the auction. Rob cranks through the thing at a pace fair to both sellers and buyers. There were a couple of the USAA people there with bidder numbers, although I didn't see them bid while I was there. My wife did overhear one of them verbally slamming on someone else (lots of 4 letter words) and then ironically 5 minutes later these people were chatting as if they were good friends; kinda funny to watch. Rob took several opportunities to slam the USAA auctions which was cool; maybe they'll get a clue, although I doubt it. Not a lot of nice stuff, but a few good buys. Most of the 25"ers that are priced above had immaculate monitors and were generally pretty clean pieces. The air conditioning seemed to work sporadically (it was 93 outside).
I wish I'd have known there were going to be so many RGVAC people there. See you all in November, or whenever they get back there.
