Hello All,

I had a chacne to attend the Orlando auction on Saturday and I
thought that I would post the results of the video units (please see
below). Overall I thought that this auction was better than the last
one ~3 months ago as there were some decent games to bid on. There
were the usual collection of fighting games, yet there were some
classics as well as what appeared to be a nice Gauntlet Legends!

For myself I wanted to pick-up my first game to work on/restore and
was actually out for a broken game as I had hoped it would be cheap.
However I was lucky enough to be with someone that is very sharp with
games, and he noticed that a working Ninja Gaiden was actually in a
Joust cabinet (the sides were painted black, but you could just make
out the outline of the covered up ostrich). Although I had to leave to
get pick-up a UHAUL by the time the auctioneers made it to the row
with the old Joust, my friend and my wife were able to get the game
for only $75! Yea! I am now beginning to pick-up parts to rebuild the
Joust and I need everything except for a new CPO (thus PCB, wiring
harness, CP buttons and joystick, bezzle, marqueem etc.). Anyone have
any parts for sale? However once I get a Joust PCB I am thinking of
putting in Mr. Cowgill's Williams Multigame as it will play Joust,
thus the restoration will be complete, and it also has Bubble's which
my wife and I both like. :-)

By the way, my friend who helped with the Ninja Gaiden/Joust is
looking for an Astroblaster and an upright Beer Tapper. If anyone has
a lead on these he/I would appreciate it. For myself my permenant
collection is almost complete as I am now just looking for just a
decent Lunar Lander (I bought a very good TRON from my friend on
Saturday and I am so happy to finally have one!). I care most about
the game functioning, rather than looks per se, although a solid
cabiniet would be most appreciated.
